Securing safe access to the site while construction was done.

We prepared and obtained the required 404 and 401 permits, including mitigation requirements. Our team provided oversight for constructing and repairing an elevated walkway along the Ottawa River in a Category 3 wetland.

To construct the elevated walkway, a temporary construction road was required within the Category 3 wetland and the river’s flood plain. The road was constructed with 1350 cubic yards of temporary fill covering more than 0.36 acres and three 72-inch diameter culverts within the Ottawa River to maintain downstream flow.
