Streetscape Improvements Phases I-III

Bradford, Pennsylvania

The City of Bradford retained CT to assist with a multi-phased redevelopment of the downtown area.

CT helped raise funding from several sources including, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Redevelopment Capital Program, Appalachian Regional Commission, City of Bradford, Community Development Block Grant Program, PennDOT-Tap, Philo & Sarah Blaisdell Foundation, and Zippo Manufacturing Company.

The first phase consisted of Boylston Street between East Washington Street Bridge and Davis Street and Kennedy Street between Main Street and Forman Street.

Phase two involved the west side of Elm Street / US Route 219 underpass and the reconfiguration of the Elm Street / Davis Street intersection per PennDOT requirements. Phase three provided gateway and directional signage with landscape plantings at the US Route 219 south off-ramp.
