Tennessee Downtown Improvements

CT is currently assisting the city with first phase construction documents after helping secure $1.25M in federal TAP funds.
Located 60 miles south of Nashville, Mount Pleasant is one of several historic communities situated along the Old Tennessee Trail, promoting the culture unique to this region of Tennessee.
Many historic buildings that comprise the core downtown district are vacant and need repair; likewise, the physical condition of the downtown streets and infrastructure have also deteriorated and deterred economic growth and public activity.
Recognizing the need to reverse the deteriorated conditions, Mount Pleasant brought CT on board to help create an economically viable and active downtown district.
CT has evaluated the physical conditions and infrastructure of the downtown district, developed concepts for improvements based on public and city input, prepared a master plan and associated cost estimates for the improvements and developed a financial plan. We were also able to help the city gain $1.25M in grants for these comprehensive improvements.
