CT provided architectural/engineering services to construct the $3.2 million Lake County Regional Response building.

The building will be a single-story, 12,000 sf through-wall masonry building for housing 12 vehicles located adjacent to Fire Station No. 4 on SR 306.

The building houses tactical response vehicles, bomb truck and supplies, mass event medical supplies, specialized trailers, and ATV’s and provides interior and exterior training areas. Site improvements will include 20 parking spaces, access drive, independent utilities, and landscaping on the 1-acre site.

The facility will incorporate standard garage mechanical and electrical systems. Challenges included minimizing disruption of wetlands located on the proposed site and compliance with strict FAA requirements due to its adjacency to Lost Nation Airport.
