Kristin Hopkins joins CT Consultants as Principal Planner

CT Consultants, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Kristin Hopkins, AICP to its staff. Ms. Hopkins has over 26 years of professional planning experience, including 16 years with the Cleveland planning and development consulting firm D.B. Hartt, Inc. By joining CT Consultants, Ms. Hopkins complements the firm’s expansion of its Planning Services Division which began with the acquisition of D.B. Hartt in April 2014.  Working once again with David Hartt, Ms. Hopkins’ responsibilities will include comprehensive planning, neighborhood revitalization, land development regulations, zoning consultation and development feasibility analysis.  Ms. Hopkins will work out of the Mentor office.

Ms. Hopkins is a certified urban planning professional with broad private and public sector planning and zoning experience at the community and neighborhood level. She has developed a unique combination of expertise including: land use planning; economic analysis; zoning, subdivision and storm water management regulations; design guidelines; community surveys, meeting facilitation, project management; and planning education and training.

Ms. Hopkins has continuously served in leadership roles for the Ohio Chapter and Cleveland Section of the American Planning Association since 1991, including Chapter President, and currently as Professional Development Officer. She has organized numerous local and state wide planning conferences and educational seminars.
