Forest Lawn Stormwater Park

Boardman, Ohio

The park will preserve green space, alleviate local flooding, create a nature habitat, improve water quality, and provide a recreational area for residents.

This project was identified by ABC Water District and Boardman Township to help alleviate local flooding and stream erosion in the Cranberry Run watershed, which impacts hundreds of homes in the area. The project will open the Cranberry Run stream and restore it to more natural conditions. ABC and the United States Army Corps of Engineers have been working together to identify problem areas and solutions for the watershed.

The park will preserve green space, alleviate local flooding, create a nature habitat, improve water quality, and provide a recreational area for residents. The future Forest Lawn Stormwater Park is located along the Cranberry Run Watershed.
