Conneaut Public Library Event Center

Conneaut, Ohio

CT worked with Conneaut Public Library and the City of Conneaut to bring their vision of an outdoor gathering space to reality.

The design-build project was funded with CDBG RPIG grants CT helped attain based on data showcasing the amount of use and programming the library hosts. Once we secured funding, CPL and CT went to work on designing and constructing the new space.

Owner’s Representative services included administering professional design and construction manager requests for proposals, design and pre-construction, and construction and post-construction services. CT’s role was to monitor and provide input into the budget and schedule processes, with project quality being a primary focus of our services. Our efforts helped ensure that the project met the expected high-quality standards.

The center is 1,700 sq ft with a 700 sq ft stage. The community will use the event space for library programs and city public gatherings such as party-in-the-park and soap-box derby racing.
