Manor Brook Stream Restoration

In general, this project entails improving an existing watercourse’s performance by realigning the channel and constructing a generous floodplain. It will provide robust habitat for native species, improve the quality of a cold-water tributary to McFarland Creek and reduce the flow velocity while engaging the new floodplain to provide storage during significant rain events.

South Russell received EPA 319 Grant funding for the project. The project includes the restoration of 1,360 feet of stream channel.
